Creamy Pasta by Najeebah



 ŇΩ̶̣̣̥̇̊ǰЄЄƁΩ̶̣̣̥̇̊Ӈ : ~ Creamy Pasta:

- Tagliatelle σя Fettuccine Pasta (ɪ̇Ƒ Ɣ☺ΰ ∂σи'т Нανє use Any 1 Ɣ☺ΰ Нανє)

* Boil 1/2 Ά̲̣ Packet ωιтн 1 Teaspoon Salt & 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil Till Soft But Firm, Then Drain & Run Cold Water over τσ Ανσι∂ Sticking, Drain Water & Set Aside. 

Veggies:

- 1/2 Ά̲̣ Green Pepper, Cubed
- 1/2 Can Creamstyle Corn
- 1/2 Ά̲̣ Packet Chopped Mushrooms

* Saute Veggies Αℓℓ Together °̩ή Ά̲̣ Pan ωιтн Ά̲̣ Little Butter until Cooked, & Heated Throught Season ωιтн Ά̲̣ Little Zeal Salt & Paprika & Set Aside 

Creamy Sauce:

- 3 Heap Tablespoons Butter
- 3 Heap Tablespoons Flour
- 500 Ml Milk
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Aromat
- 1/2 Teaspoon Lemon Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt 
- 1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon Crushed Green Chillies
- 1 Cup Cheese

* Melt Butter °̩ή Ά̲̣ Saucepan, Add The Flour And Some Milk & Stir Continously To Ανσι∂ Any Lumps. Slowly Add °̩ή Ά̲̣ Little Мσяє Milk & The Spices & Stir Until Abit Thick, Add The Rest Øf The Milk Finished & Stir, Add The Cheese & Stir Well. Throw The Sauce Over The Boiled Pasta & Add Your Sauted Veggies Stir Well Garnish ωιтн Origannum & Serve Hot ! :p ɪ̇Ƒ Ɣ☺ΰ Want Ιт Ά̲̣ Little Strong Serve ωιтн Ά̲̣ Few Drops Øf Tabesco Sauce.

Sour cream chicken with sour cream potatoes - by Najeebah

Sour Cream Chicken ωιтн Sour Cream Potatoes

Chicken: 

- 1 Chicken (Cut, Washed & Drained)
- 1 Medium Onion, Finely Chopped
- 2 Teaspoons Ginger Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Green Chillies
- 1 Teaspoon Aromat
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 2 Teaspoons Chicken Spice 
- 1 Tablespoon Mayonaise
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeeru
- 1/2- 3/4 Cup Sour Cream 

* Marinate Chicken °̩ή Spices, Saute Onion °̩ή Ghee Till Lightly Browned. Add Chicken & Cook ση Low until Ðσиε. 15 Minutes Before Serving Add The Sour Cream & Allow To Boil Well.  

Potatoes:

- 1 Onion, Cut °̩ή Thin Rings
- 1 Green Pepper, Cut °̩ή Thin Rings

* Saute °̩ή Ghee Till Soft 
Fry Ά̲̣ Handfull Øf Baby Potatoes σя τσ Big Potatoes, Cut Into Wedges..Spice Wedges/ Potatoes ωιтн Salt, Pepper & Some Garlic Flakes. Add 1/4 Cup Sour Cream, Simmer & Serve..

Bounty cake by Aunty Hanifa

Bounty cake
125g butter
½ cup castor sugar
3 eggs, separated
1 cup flour
2 tsp cocoa
1½ tsp b.p
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla ess
Beat butter and sugar till creamy. Add in the 3 egg yolks mixing well. Thereafter, sift and add the flour, cocoa and b.p. Lastly add the milk and van ess. 
3 egg whites
½ cup icing sugar
1¼ cup coconut
In a separate bowl, beat  egg whites till stiff. Add in icing sugar and the coconut. 
Method:
Lay out half cake mixture in a greased baking pan. Pour over meringue over. Then pour the balance of cake mixture over. Bake at 160deg until skewer comes out clean. Aunty Hanifa

Soak wooden skewer 's.
1 cup flour
1 cup maize meal
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper or less
1 egg
1 cup milk
Beat altogether and allow to rest in the fridge for a bit. Transfer to a jug for easy dipping. 
Pat dry Vienna's or Russians so the batter sticks and holds better. Skewer them and deep fry. By Asiya,posted by Muneera

Mediterranean Inspired Spatchcook Chicken by Najeebah

Mediterranean Inspired Spatchcook Chicken
{A Fiery Lemon Infused Chicken That Is Roasted & Served with Fresh Pitted Olives & Ά̲̣ Sprinkle Of Coriander} 

Ingredients:

- 2 Whole Chicken Spatchcook Style
- 1 Tablespoon Red Masala Paste
- 1 Tablespoon Green Masala Paste
- 3 Tablespoons Harrisa Paste (Avail Αт Pick n Pay σя Akhalwayas Spice Shop) 
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Zest Of Ά̲̣ Orange
- 1 Tablespoon Chilli Powder
- Salt To Taste
- Oil 

Method:

Combine All The Spice Mixes with Oil And Make A Rub, Rub Liberally Over Chicken. Roast In A Preheated Oven Until Cooked Through. Serve Alongside Chips, Pita Bread & Ά̲̣ Fresh Salad.

Chicken Pot Pie - made by Shanaaz

Shanaaz Ahmod: CHICKEN POT PIE

4 chicken breasts cubes
6 cloves of garlic
1 medium onion sliced
Salt and pepper to taste

*boil above in 2 cups water until one cup is left. Drain the 1 cup of that stock and keep aside.

2 carrots sliced
1 tin corn
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tab soya sauce
1 tub fresh cream
2 tab flour
Puff pastry

*add chicken and all other ing except flour and cream. Cook until dry. Add flour to 1 cup of stock u kept aside from boiling chicken. Then add this and cream to chicken and cook until thickens. Use puff pastry (I use todays pastry). Pour filling into casserole or individual ramekins. Cover filling with pastry (pastry must act as a lid). Poke pastry with holes and brush with egg and bake till golden brown and pastry is cooked. Let pie rest for about 10min and serve.

Note: instead of sliced carrots and a tin of corn, u can add frozen mix veg.
