Bounty cake
125g butter
½ cup castor sugar
3 eggs, separated
1 cup flour
2 tsp cocoa
1½ tsp b.p
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla ess
Beat butter and sugar till creamy. Add in the 3 egg yolks mixing well. Thereafter, sift and add the flour, cocoa and b.p. Lastly add the milk and van ess.
3 egg whites
½ cup icing sugar
1¼ cup coconut
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites till stiff. Add in icing sugar and the coconut.
Method:
Lay out half cake mixture in a greased baking pan. Pour over meringue over. Then pour the balance of cake mixture over. Bake at 160deg until skewer comes out clean. Aunty Hanifa
