Shanaaz Ahmod: CHICKEN POT PIE
4 chicken breasts cubes
6 cloves of garlic
1 medium onion sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
*boil above in 2 cups water until one cup is left. Drain the 1 cup of that stock and keep aside.
2 carrots sliced
1 tin corn
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tab soya sauce
1 tub fresh cream
2 tab flour
Puff pastry
*add chicken and all other ing except flour and cream. Cook until dry. Add flour to 1 cup of stock u kept aside from boiling chicken. Then add this and cream to chicken and cook until thickens. Use puff pastry (I use todays pastry). Pour filling into casserole or individual ramekins. Cover filling with pastry (pastry must act as a lid). Poke pastry with holes and brush with egg and bake till golden brown and pastry is cooked. Let pie rest for about 10min and serve.
Note: instead of sliced carrots and a tin of corn, u can add frozen mix veg.
