Chana (Chickpeas)
Braise 2 sprigs of curry leaves, 1 tsp crushed garlic n 1tsp mustard seeds in ghee or oil
When spluttering stops, add:
1tsp chilli powder (or to taste)
1tsp dhania jeeru powder ( coriander and cumin powder mix)
1tsp salt
Add 2 liquidised tomatoes +1 Tbl lemon juice n cook for awhile
Add 2 tins drained chickpeas + ½ tin coconut cream n cook till done n water is burnt.
Serve garnished with chopped dhania n fresh grated coconut, n roti of course.
